I would just like to wish all of my visitors and members a merry Christmas and happy new year for 2014!
BUSY BUSY BUSY
I realise it has been a while since I last updated the blog on Tekmoz and this is partially down to the fact that I have busy with my business and 2 young children plus I get many emails from Tekmoz readers everyday and I do take the time to answer them all.
New Direction for 2015
I have been wondering about the direction of Tekmoz. When it first started back in 2010 I really wanted it to be a free resource for people to come and learn how to fix computers and laptops with an eventual view that it would then go on to offer network training and other types of training. Whilst this still holds true, my own personal interests have taken a slightly different route and although I still have a hand in IT repair and training I now spend most of my time devoted to Internet Marketing and finding ways of earning a living from the Internet. The internet has changed the face of IT with cloud solutions such as hosted desktop and virtual machines and tablet PC’s quickly replacing standard networks and the ways in which we work, it is important to move with the times.
Because of this, 2015 should see a slightly new direction for Tekmoz geared toward helping people learn and earn from IT and technology in general, from setting up a new website or blog, selling online, earning money by learning new technical skills which you could do both online and offline. My vision is to help YOU, to pass on my own 20+ years of experience so you too can use those new skills to earn money from, hopefully start a full or part time business. I know a lot of Tekmoz members have already done this, I have the testimonials to tell me so and I hope that many more in 2015 will also do so. I don’t want to lose sight of the fact that Tekmoz is a personal website/blog which I want to continue to be passionate about, adding a varied new content will only strengthen my resolve to keep adding to it.
More Social Presence
I will be more active in social media in 2015 and encourage you to ask your questions via those websites rather than email me direct. I do get asked the same questions a lot and it would be easier to answer them publicly rather than via email. Of course, this could be done through a Tekmoz forum and this will happen eventually too.
See ya for now!
